Exhibition Examining Sequential Art Draws 300 Opening Night

"Rated G for Graphic" a look at the sequential art of comic books, graphic novels and video games drew 300 excited guests to its September 13 opening.  Many of the guests came in cosplay (comic book or video attire) and are pictured below.

The exhibition features the video game designs of Tiffany & Tammy Dao, the graphic novels of James Greene, the comic and graphic novel work of John Allison and the Marvel Comics cover art of Paolo Rivers.  The exhibition runs through November 17 and has been drawing large numbers of visitors.

Pulp fiction (the predecessor of comic books) and its connection to Ormond Beach were the topic of an historical talk by Audrey Parente that drew 30 guests.

The educational portion of the exhibition continues with a Comic Book Workshop for Teens and Tweens on Saturday, Oct. 19 from noon - 3.
