Marine Science Center

Learn about conservation efforts and witness the rehabilitation of live sea turtles and seabirds, explore fascinating mangrove and whale exhibits and meet the residents of a huge, artificial reef aquarium Open Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Last admission is at 3:30 p.m.
Museum of Arts & Sciences

The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) is the primary art, history and science museum in Central Florida. It hosts over 30,000 objects and houses, including the most complete Giant Sloth Skeleton in North America and the largest collection of Cuban art on display outside of Cuba. Along with many other displays, including extensive Coca-Cola memorabilia, a theater, planetarium and children's center. Open Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Southeast Museum of Photography

Florida's only museum exclusively dedicated to photography offers intriguing changing exhibits of historical and contemporary photography as well as lectures, children's programs, a photographic library and a permanent collection. Generally open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday 11 a.m.- 7 p.m.; weekends 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Call for special hours and student holiday closings. Free paring and admission.
African American Museum
