Learn about conservation efforts and witness the rehabilitation of live sea turtles and seabirds, explore fascinating mangrove and whale exhibits and meet the residents of a huge, artificial reef aquarium Open Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) is the primary art, history and science museum in Central Florida. It hosts over 30,000 objects and houses the most complete Giant Sloth Skeleton in North America and the largest collection of Cuban art on display outside of Cuba. Along with many other displays, including extensive Coca-Cola memorabilia, the museum features a theater, planetarium and children's center. Open Monday - Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Florida's only museum exclusively dedicated to photography offers intriguing changing exhibits of historical and contemporary photography as well as lectures, children's programs, a photographic library and a permanent collection. Generally open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Wednesday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; weekends 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Call for special hours and student holiday closings.

African American Museum
